Room 1 is situated on the first floor in what would have been the grand reception room of the house. There are three original floor to ceiling windows overlooking the square with wooden fold out shutters, a decorative fireplace, antique chandelier, high ceilings with ornate plaster cornicing, polished antique floorboards with underfloor heating, superking handcarved bed, flat screen Sony TV, tea and coffee making facilities, wifi and hairdryer. The room is painted a soft antique white from Farrow & Ball.  The ensuite bathroom  with decadent chocolate brown mosaic tiles has a double ended cast iron roll-top bath,  double basins, walk in shower and decorative cast iron radiator.
